Group Fitness Studio
A suspended wooden floor is the primary attraction of our Group Fitness Studio. Offering a variety of high-, low-, and combination impact classes, morning and evening sessions give everyone the opportunity to participate.
Group Fitness Classes
Aerobics classes are suited for all fitness levels. Please inform the instructor if you are a new student. See schedule for details about class time. Schedule varies monthly and is subject to change or cancel.
BODYPUMP
"The fastest way in the universe to get in shape!" BODYPUMP is a strength endurance class lasting about 1 hour. The class challenges every muscle group in your body increasing strength and metabolism for real results. The weight training class is easy to follow with predictable routines tha make BODYPUMP successful for the beginner as well as the serious weight trainer.
Yoga
A synergistic blend of IYENGAR, ANUSARA and other yoga styles that are taught with attention to individual needs, breathing, mental focus, and ranges in movement intensity.
Yo-FIt-ga
A "group fitness" oriented yoga class suited for all fitness levels. YoFITga includes predictable warming phase moving to the working phase that includes flow series SUN SALUTATIONS and traditional WARRIOR and TRIANGLE POSES. The class ends with cool down stretches and final relaxation. please bring a sticky yoga mat if you have one. (The Sprtscenter has yoga mats just in case, as well as balance blocks)
Gentle Yoga
A lighter intensity yoga class done in chairs instead of mats on the ground. Ideal for people suffering from back problems that cannot get up and down from the ground easily.
HiLo
A high or low impact class (your choice) that includes “grapevines,” step touches, hamstring curls, as well as jumping jacks and “jogs” composed in 32 count combinations. Includes warm up, cardio phase, cool down, abdominal work, and final stretches.
STEP
A cardio workout using a REEBOK STEP (height can vary) that is put together in an easy to learn format with 32 count combinations. Some classes may include an interval format that incorporates the use of weights.
KICKBOXING
This class includes traditional boxing and kicking combinations. Learn proper technique and form. Provides a fun and challenging cardiovascular workout that includes upper and lower body movements.
TOTAL BODY
A 1 hour long compilation of classes or segments. Be prepared for anything!
PILATES
This method has roots of dance conditioning and builds core strength and postural alignment while increasing flexibility.
ZUMBA
Zumba fuses hypnotic latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away. Our goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, to get hooked. Zumba Fanatics achieve long term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exhilarating hour of caloric-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life!
MUSCLE & MOTION
Similar to sculpt, only using more cardio. Option of light weights or bands to increase your heart rate into the aerobic zone.
